Floating pontoons have played a supreme and indispensable role in crises disasters for both civil military purposes. bridges ferries are exposed to blast loadings the case of wars or terrorist attacks. The protection effectiveness sacrificial cladding subjected was numerically investigated. In this study, steel ferry has been simulated side explosions with different explosive charges at certain stand-off distances, according standards from NATO American standard TM5. simulation, nonlinear three-dimensional hydro-code numerical simulation ANSYS autodyn-3d used. results reported that could withstand charge 5 kg TNT distance 1 m without failure. main objective research is achieve design would increase capacity against loading minimal plastic deformation absence any failure ferry.
